Heavy Equipment Operation Level II

The Heavy Equipment Operation Program Level II is designed to build upon Level I training by introducing additional equipment, giving the student more employment opportunities and enabling them to stay on the job longer. Level II will teach an individual heavy equipment operation and related subject matter as outlined below. The main equipment types used in Level II are bulldozer, scraper, loader and backhoe. Additionally, students will learn heavy equipment rigging, grade reading, laser levels, safety procedures, and heavy equipment maintenance. Graduates will receive a Level-2 National Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Following are the course modules:
